QuintoAndar, the largest housing platform in Latin America, will be part of the 30th edition of Casacor Minas as a local sponsor. The proptech’s participation in the exhibition aims to deepen QuintoAndar’s presence in Belo Horizonte, one of the strategic markets for the company, as well as representing the brand’s entry into the architecture and decoration territory.
QuintoAndar has created proprietary spaces that seek to translate its brand positioning through an experience that connects its values to Casacor’s proposal.
With the motto “When a House Becomes a Home,” QuintoAndar’s participation in the event is an invitation for visitors to rethink the concept of housing, valuing affection and innovation. “We believe that, more than just a place to live, a home is a space that carries feelings and memories,” says Flávia Mussalem, Marketing Director at QuintoAndar. “It’s architecture meeting emotion, decoration reflecting who we are and what we dream of being. This is the essence that motivates QuintoAndar’s entry into architecture and design environments like Casacor.”
In partnership with architects Paulo Campos and Sarah Floresta, founders of Balsa Arquitetura, QuintoAndar will have two environments at Casacor Minas, providing an immersive and complementary experience for visitors. At the QuintoAndar Gallery, one of the largest spaces at the exhibition, the narrative is guided by chromatic variations, exploring a sequence of environments that awaken distinct sensations in the visitor. The space was divided into five moments: two are dedicated to temporary art exhibitions, hosting a new one each week. The other three moments are intended to promote an immersion into the concept of QuintoAndar’s campaign.
At the end of the journey, the visitor is led to the QuintoAndar Kitchen, which was designed to create a connection with local visitors, as the kitchen is the heart of the Mineiro home. In addition to artworks, the space features a series of design objects from Minas Gerais, created by names such as Cultivado em Casa, Iludi Design, Estúdio Veste, Olavo Machado Neto and Estúdio Dentro, Francisco Oliveira, and Studio Bonds, reinforcing the dialogue between authorial production, local identity, and daily life. “We chose partners who represent the expressiveness of Minas Gerais design today with a strong aesthetic and conceptual presence, capable of bringing layers of meaning to the space,” highlights Paulo Campos, architect at Balsa Arquitetura.
“The idea was to build a living environment, close to reality and, at the same time, curated, where each object tells a story. By inviting these designers, we also reinforce the appreciation of local production and Casacor’s role as a platform for visibility for independent design,” points out Sarah Floresta.
QuintoAndar’s Presence in Minas Gerais
The platform’s association with Casacor Minas comes at a strategic moment, as the Minas Gerais market continues in a clear expansion process, responding well to stimuli, as Flávia describes: “In Belo Horizonte, where we have a long-standing relationship and a special affection, we identified great potential to innovate and improve the housing experience. So much so that the state capital has become a true laboratory for testing and launching solutions that we later take to the rest of the country,” she points out.
According to the director, this movement has been directly reflected in the Group’s results. “In the last five years, we have quadrupled the number of rental contracts under management in the city. We ended 2024 with a monthly average of 500 rental contracts and 300 property sales in the region. Since 2018, we have been operating in more than 200 of the capital’s 487 neighborhoods,” highlights Flávia.
QuintoAndar Gallery Schedule
The QuintoAndar Gallery will host a series of temporary exhibitions, curated by local galleries, presenting the work of three artists who dialogue with the exhibition’s concept.
August 15 to 25: Photographer and architect Jomar Bragança, one of the leading names in architectural photography in the country, presents a show of his powerful authorial work. The exhibition is curated by AM Galeria and explores a panorama of his experience and sensitivity.
August 25 to September 1: Photographer Luciana Rennó exhibits works that capture landscapes and the connection with the natural environment. Her sensitive and intuitive gaze reveals hidden beauty, textures, and vibrations that directly dialogue with nature.
September 1 to 8: Curated by Lemos de Sá Galeria, artist Renato Morcatti occupies the space with works that move between drawing and sculpture to narrate memories. His work revisits the “house” and the social environment based on personal experiences and archives, mixing present and past.
